A few minority sexual orientations which differ from the mass have always been the topic and phenomenom that intrigue me. I attended the event of BioArt Talks "We're All Living in the Estroworld" and listen to the lecturer Mary Maggic to talk about such phenomenom as well as the secrets of hormone from the perspectives of both biology science and social level. There are several points worthy to bring up in the event discussed by Mary, including the categorization of gender/orientations and social viewpoint, and integration of science&tech&arts in this field. Mass Production, technology innovation, and mechainization all facilitate people's life, promote social development, and provide more possibilities. Admittedly, all these advantages, progress, and convenience are accompanied by certain drawbacks and potential risks. From my perspective as an applied-math-major student, I strongly agree that mathematics has great influence and positive effect on arts in the past and present. Mathematics, as a language to communicate with the world in a systematic way, serves as a very crucial tool in arts to construct, build, and create. Math is somehow a platform with fundamental and common rules which artists can think and produce artwork creatively with the aid of mathematics tools. L., the relationship between the fourth dimension in space, Euclidean and Non-euclidean space can reflect the thinking process and strong correlation between arts and math.
